🌟 Advancing Neonatal Care with Expertise and Innovation! 🌟

The Department of Neonatology at KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur, proudly hosted the Pedicon Workshop on Neonatal Neuro Protection, Amplitude-Integrated Electroencephalography (aEEG) and Therapeutic Hypothermia for HIE. 💡👶

This insightful event emphasized the critical role of Neonatal Neuro Protection in Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE) and the interpretation of Cerebral Function Monitoring (CFM) in neonates. The delegates gained invaluable knowledge from an esteemed panel of experts, including international faculty Dr. Bivan Saha and Dr. Srinivasarao Babarao, along with our renowned national faculty Dr. Aparna C. (Clinical Director, Neonatology and Head of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Sr. Consultant Neonatology and Pediatrics), Dr. Pranitha Reddy (Consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician, ACLP Lactation Trainer), Dr. Aravinda Lochani T. (Consultant Neonatologist and Pediatrician), and Dr. Vamsi Krishna Vaddi (Consultant Neonatologist & Pediatrician) from KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur. 🌍✨

Empowering Knowledge in Cervical Cancer Care 

The Cervical Cancer Awareness CME Program at KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur, was an inspiring gathering of experts and dedicated participants! Together, we delved into the complexities of cervical cancer and explored recent advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and the critical role of HPV vaccination. The event sparked powerful conversations, built lasting professional connections, and highlighted often-overlooked aspects of gynecological care.

On 19th September 2024, the High-Risk Obstetrics CME at Gulbarga, held in association with the Karnataka State Obstetrics and Gynaecological Association and Gulbarga OBG Society, was an incredible success. The event featured renowned experts who shared their insights on managing high-risk pregnancies, maternal health and cutting-edge neonatal care techniques. With thought-provoking lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions, the CME fostered a collaborative environment aimed at improving clinical outcomes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all speakers, participants and our esteemed partners for making this event impactful and informative!

The third and final day of the NeoCaRe CPD Workshop at KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur, was the perfect culmination of three days of intensive learning. Participants focused on mastering neonatal neuro sonography, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and managing complex cases, with our NICU experts providing invaluable guidance. The day’s rich discussions and practical sessions ensured that the workshop ended on a high note, leaving everyone equipped with enhanced skills and insights.

Day 2 of the NeoCaRe CPD Workshop at Novotel was another day of impactful learning and collaboration! Participants explored neonatal resuscitation, advanced ventilation strategies, and hemodynamic monitoring. Guided by our expert NICU team, the hands-on sessions were followed by engaging case discussions, bringing theory to life. It was a productive and insightful day in our journey to enhance neonatal care! 

Day 1 of the NeoCaRe CPD Workshop at KIMS Cuddles, Kondapur exceeded all expectations! After a warm welcome, the day was packed with hands-on sessions on crucial neonatal care practices, from cardiac assessments to advanced ultrasound techniques. The NICU team's live demonstration, led by Dr. C. Aparna, Dr. Aravinda Lochani T, and Dr. Vaddi Vamsi Krishna, was the perfect finale, offering deep insights into neonatal care. It was an inspiring day of education and teamwork!

A Day of Pediatric Innovation: On August 11th, 2024, KIMS Cuddles, in collaboration with IAP TCB & PATS, hosted a groundbreaking 'Pediatric Out of the Box Multispeciality CME Programme' at Hyatt Place, Hyderabad. Esteemed speakers presented the latest advancements in pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, radiology, and more, fostering a day of learning and collaboration among healthcare professionals.

We’re proud to share the success of our recent workshop on Developmental & Therapeutic Intervention in the NICU, organized by KIMS Cuddles. Designed by Dr. Juhita Pamar and Dr. Kashvi, this event brought together neonatal experts and caregivers to discuss and implement innovative practices aimed at enhancing the care of our tiniest patients. The sessions were moderated by Dr. Aparna, Dr. Ravishankar, Dr. Bhavani, and Dr. Aravinda Lochani who shared their extremely valuable insights, knowledge and experience.

Key strategies discussed included developmentally supportive care in the NICU, kangaroo mother care, and the prevention and management of pain in neonates. Through engaging lectures and hands-on activities, we collectively explored new ways to ensure every newborn has the best start in life. Thank you to all the participants and speakers for their incredible insights and dedication!

We were delighted to host the CPD & Workshop Programme on Pediatric Neurology: Bench to Bedside, organized by the Department of Pediatrics Neurology at KIMS Cuddles, in collaboration with the Child Neurology Group, Hyderabad, and IAP Twin Cities Branch. The event was a remarkable success, featuring comprehensive sessions and interactive workshops that enriched our understanding of pediatric neurology. Our dedicated hospital staff ensured every parent-to-be felt supported and celebrated as they embarked on this extraordinary journey.
